1880s English Silver “collar”, an antique type of wide link chain usually worn fairly high and made, really, to carry a locket such as this, handcrafted in Birmingham in the same period, most finely hand-engraved front and back.
(The collar links are all hand-engraved.)
Collar 42cms length, engraved links 9mm square, in good condition.
